Mining for Equity in the Teaching, Learning, and Organizational Practices

Session Description

In this workshop, participants will engage in practice, strategy and discussion about inequitable practices that undermine access to the learning environment for students of difference. Further, participants will begin to disrupt exclusionary methods by intentionally driving equity of voice, presence and belonging when designing the teaching, learning, and organizational practices.

Session Goals

1) Participants will be measured on their level of engagement and conversation around difficult topics (power, privilege, Eurocentric, and Fragility) 2) Participants will be measured on their willingness to commit to disrupt their own as well as system structures that promote inequity.
