Session Description

TCC recently switched from Blackboard to Canvas. It provided an opportunity to enhance student learning outcomes assessment and utilize technology to improve assessment collection. The program review process is also a collaborative process that aligns two Academic Affairs departments which leads to stronger program learning outcomes and curriculum improvements.

Full Description

Tarrant County College recently switched learning management systems from Blackboard to Canvas. The transition in the middle of the pandemic was remarkable and reflected the true grit and determination of TCC faculty and staff to provide quality education to our students. It also provided an opportunity to enhance student learning outcomes assessment and further utilize technology to improve the collection of assessments. The program review process is also a collaborative process of assessment that connects the Office of Curriculum and Educational Planning and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation. The collaboration leads to stronger program learning outcomes and curriculum improvements.
