Full Description

Tarrant County College NW Campus, like its sister campuses, has long worked to be student-centered and to support student success. When Dr. Zarina Blankenbaker became Campus President in June, 2017, she sought input from faculty, staff and administration about their efforts to be a campus of choice for students. The feedback received was reviewed by the NW Campus leadership team and was summarized into seven commitments. NW Campus employees commit to being learner-centered and exhibiting performance excellence. They use data to inform continuous improvement. They take intelligent risks to transform student learning and to promote student employability. They exemplify TCC values and serve as good stewards of students, facilities and resources. Overarching all of those commitments is their commitment to demonstrate caring behaviors. This presentation will provide examples of fulfilling the commitments and of their integration with Tarrant County College's goal of being one college that is student ready and serves the community.
