Serving Invisible Students-Providing Resources to Meet College Students' Basic Needs

Session Description

Every day, our college and university students come to us representing diverse populations: foster care alumni, commuters, veterans, and-traditional students, to name just a few. Students being invisible needs with them, including food, housing, financial and legal ones. Learn about how the Campus Alliance for Resource Education (CARE) program at Texas Woman's University provides wraparound supports through diaper changing and lactation stations, a food pantry, legal services, emergency loans, the Campus Advocacy and Inclusion Team, and the Health and Well-being Initiative.
