Equity in learning materials continues to be a challenge for many ISDs, colleges and universities. Many times students go without learning materials for various reasons. Dallas College decided there was an equity issue with students and learning material access. This presentation discusses this inequity and how Dallas College worked with Follett to begin to address the issues of equity and learning material access. Working with Follett, Dallas College entered into the IncludED program which is transforming how students receive their learning materials on or before the first day of class.
