Session Description

Participants will engage in collaborative interactions to examine how to create world-ready students through innovative teaching, architectural design, and technology.

Session Goals

We hope to inform and inspire the north Texas higher education community by defining Tarrant County College District’s vision for Integrative Learning and describing best practices to promote large-scale institutional change in support of student learning and success. To this end, we will engage participants in a series of collaborative discussions to identify how enhanced teaching, space, and technology and can help develop world-ready students.

The Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is one of the largest higher education institutions in the United States, serving over 100,000 students annually. This multi-campus institution is currently undergoing district-wide, transformative change to enhance the student learning experience. TCCD embraces a culture of teaching and learning as the foundation of its mission, and supporting innovation in teaching practices, space, and technology serves as the core for student learning and success. Here we will engage participants through a series of interactive, collaborative activities to demonstrate how to promote integrative learning to make world-ready students.
