This is an overview of the development and implementation of the Mountain View Honors College. Topics include its alignment with the Core Values of Mountain View College as well as the basic characteristic of an Honors College as defined by the National Collegiate Honors Council. Special attention will be placed on the distinct components of the Honors College and its integration of existing programs to provide multiple pathways for honors students to pursue academic excellence.
