Weatherford College, a small rural community college presently enrolls 67 international students from 26 countries at its main campus. All the continents, (except for Antarctica) are represented right here on Weatherford College campus. This rich and unique pool of international students can undoubtedly help create a vibrant and dynamic learning community for everyone involved. The presenter will seek to highlight ways in which the college can deliberately and meaningfully engage the international students to help foster not just a culturally diverse environment, but also an enriched learning community for students, faculty, staff and even those in the wider community.
