Mary Wood began teaching at Richland College in 2014 after earning a Master’s degree in English from Texas Woman’s University in 2011. At Richland, Mary helps design and conduct training on how to employ cooperative learning strategies in the college classroom. Prior to teaching at Richland, she coordinated a multi-discipline tutoring center where she trained student tutors to engage in peer learning, and she employs many of the same strategies in her classroom.
