About the Presenter

Dr. Joshua Tabor is a 20 year educator in the Texas public school system and has been an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas since 2018. He taught social studies and coached volleyball and softball for 17 years and has spent the last 3 years as a digital learning specialist in Denton ISD where he helps teachers engage students through technology. He earned his doctorate in 2018 from Texas A&M University while conducting research on effective online learning at the secondary level. He is a content coordinator for the American Educational Research Association online teaching and learning special interest group and the vice-president of the TCEA virtual learning special interest group. He has been married to his wife Amanda, an elementary principal, for 18 years and has a son, Braxton, who is entering 4th grade this year.
