Hailing from the best city for BBQ--Memphis, Tennessee, Dantrayl Smith serves as the Coordinator for the Intercultural Student Engagement and Academic Success Network at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus. Dantrayl has been in the field of student Affairs for 14 years and his research area of focus is African American male students and staff in Higher Education. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and community groups. His bachelor's degree is in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and his master’s degree from University of South Carolina in the field of Higher Education Student Affairs. He received his doctoral degree in higher education from the University of North Texas in the field of Higher Education.
