With degrees in Rhetoric and Composition, my career started with teaching high school English in NJ for a decade as well as adjuncting night writing classes for 8 of those ten years at a local community college. These experiences led me to develop ideas and pedagogy that brought students success both in and out of the classroom. Currently, I am now in Texas teaching Early College High School at Brookhaven College and applying the techniques I have honed in NJ to Texas students.
