Johansen Quijano is a lifelong gamer and educator. His work as a researcher exists at the intersection of rhetoric, literature, language, play, and the digital world. He has been working on games-based learning and gamification since 2005 and has presented his work in national and international forums. He has published a number of articles and chapters on gamified assessment and his book 'The Composition of Video Games' explores the ludo-literary function of games media as situated artifacts.
