Anamaria Olivares is an Academic Advisor at South Campus for Tarrant County Community College District. Anamaria has been in an Academic Advisor role for 7 years. Prior to advising, Anamaria worked as an Admissions Counselor at her Alma Mater Texas Tech University. She recruited in the Austin, San Antonio, Laredo and Rio Grande Valley for 3 years prior to moving in to her Advising role. Anamaria has worked in several 4 year Universities, including a Junior- Senior and Graduate school lever and now enjoying the Community College. As a student who started at a Community College, she is able to relate to the student and provide them with a little insight on her own experiences; from completing her time at San Antonio College and what it was like to move from San Antonio to Lubbock to finish out her Bachelors in Spanish and a minor in Photocommunications.

Anamaria has worked with prospective undergraduate students, to Graduate students. He passion is to be able to help students complete their goal of educating students on the importance of completing a degree. Anamaria has worked with student on academic probation and worked closely with them to achieve good standing.

Anamaria lives in Arlington with her husband Daniel and their 13 month old son Alberto. Daniel works for a General Contracting Company out of San Antonio with an office in the DFW area. They are originally from San Antonio. They have established their home in the Metro Plex but will always be San Antonio Spurs Fans. Anamaria is excited to be working with the students in the DFW area.
