Brittany K. Moore is originally from England, moving permanently to the United States in 2004. She holds a B.A. in English Language & Literature from Stephen F. Austin State University, and both an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and an M.A. in English with an emphasis in Queer Studies from McNeese State University. Moore’s discipline research focuses include the performative aspects of queer culture and gendered trends in popular music. Pedagogical research focuses include equity and the role of the faculty, distance learning and open educational resources. She resides in North Dallas where she teaches English at a two-year institution.
