Karen Mongo has over 20 years of experience in higher education (at both the community college and university levels) that includes teaching and administration. She has successfully lead a Decennial Review, an Acquisition of a Non-SACSCOC Institution, and various substantive change reviews to include Competency-Based Education while receiving no recommendations. She serves the SACSCOC as a reviewer and is a qualified Peer Reviewer in the following areas: QEP, Academics, and Institutional Effectiveness. Karen is the Executive Director of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness as well as the SACSCOC Institutional Accreditation Liaison at North Lake College in Irving, Texas.
