Dr. Larry J. King is a professor of Communication at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA), and served for eight years as the director of the Office of Student Learning and Institutional Assessment at SFA. He served as the vice chairperson of LEAP Texas, a LEAP Texas Assessment Fellow, and was a member of the Undergraduate Education Advisory Committee during the development of the new Texas Core Curriculum. He has also served as the chief officer of the faculty senate at Lamar University and SFA, and as the state president of the Texas Association of College Teachers. Dr. King currently serves at the Chair of LEAP Texas.
