Alexander Ibe (MD) is a Clinician and Researcher by training before moving into Academia. He started at Weatherford College in 2002, as a Professor of biology, and is now the Dean of Academics. His accomplishments include serving as chair of Curriculum and Academic Standards Committee, Academic Appeals Committee, Institutional Review Board, as well as several hiring committees. He was the Weatherford College Faculty Member of the year in 2016. Dr. Ibe earned his MS in Molecular & Cellular Biology from Eastern Michigan University and his MD from Universidad Eugenio Maria De Hostos.
