About the Presenter

Lourdes graduated from Tarrant County College with an Associate of Applied Science, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Managerial Science degree from Amberton University. She has worked at TCC for over 20 years and currently serves as coordinator of the Center of Excellence for ESL/ESOL/GED/Citizenship. Her volunteer work includes serving as co-founder and current president of the Executive Board of Directors for Proyecto Inmigrante ICS, Inc. She is committed to making a positive impact on society through the promotion of education and service. Her greatest achievement is being mother to Stephanie and Matthew Davenport, who are also proud products of TCC! She enjoys reading, traveling and camping with her best friend and soul mate, Mike Mendoza. She loves to laugh and enjoy life!
