Sandra Benavidez is responsible for massive programming efforts in the areas of counseling, mental health and school safety. Over the last several years she’s been responsible for education efforts that have impacted 1.4 million students, 23 counties, and nearly 300 school districts. Additionally, she has a passion for foreign education and has written two books that address the strife, journey, and academics of foreign-born students. This work has been recognized in a variety of capacities at both the state and national levels.
