This week:  How Colleges Can Exemplify and Promote Anti-Racism

Presenter:  Shani Barrax Moore, CCDP/AP, Director, Diversity & Inclusion, University of North Texas

Each week, we encourage you to take a break, step away from the day's work, eat a meal, and spend some time connecting with others for personal and professional enrichment.

For this Monday Lunch and Learn, we are focusing on How Colleges Can Exemplify and Promote Anti-Racism.

Systemic racism, implicit bias, and the resulting system of housing and educational segregation, job discrimination, police brutality, mass incarceration, and environmental descrimination, require higher education institutions not just to have "conversations about race" but to implement policies, practices, and procedures to dismantle the entire structure of systemic racism and to exemplify and promote anti-racism.  This week's discussion highlights ways we can create sustained institutional priority to work cross-collaboratively to rebuild our colleges with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

All lunch and learn webinars are free and open to all!
