For this Monday Lunch and Learn, we are focusing on Higher Education Updates.

This spring, our faculty, staff, and students transitioned to remote teaching and learning, and all of us continue to cope with the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty about what teaching and learning will look like in the coming academic year and beyond.  Texas higher education institutions, in conjunction with regional, state, and federal organizations and agencies, have been working to respond to present needs and to anticipate future impacts.  Dr. Linda Braddy, president of Brookhaven College and interim provost at DCCCD, joins us to share information about the work being done by the Texas Association of Community Colleges, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and Texas Legislature, as well as colleges and universities across the state.
