Hannah Harrel Nelson currently serves as Coordinator of Academic Support Services at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus. A DFW native, Hannah joined the TCC Northeast family in fall of 2017 as a team member in the Academic Learning Center before transitioning to her role in Academic Affairs in October 2019. Prior to finding her home in higher education, she worked as a writer, editor, and social media manager for Morris Communications Company in Fort Worth. Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts from Tarleton State University in Communication Studies, with research concentrations in organizational communication and social media strategy. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Austin, and hiking with her beloved dogs, Watson and Hank.
