Sustainability: Designing Interdisciplinary Opportunities for Teaching

Session Description

This session shares a new interdisciplinary faculty workbook designed to illustrate connections between courses and sustainability. The workbook can be utilized to highlight career applications and improve critical thinking skills in most any discipline. The workbook also provides correlations between course topics and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Attendees will receive an electronic copy of the workbook as a PDF for use under a Creative Commons license.

Session Goals

In this session you will learn to:

  1. Illustrate how sustainability correlates with a wide range of college courses;
  2. Provide interdisciplinary opportunities for teaching;
  3. Demonstrate correlations between course topics and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
