Preparing ECHS and Dual Credit Students to Skillfully Transition to Universities

Session Description

High schools and their community college and university partners must work together to ensure that ECHS and DC student coursework prepares them for seamless transfer after graduation. In addition, high schools must work closely with students to skillfully plan university application timelines and procedures to ensure maximum scholarship opportunity and coursework applicability.

Those working with high school students enrolled in ECHS and DC will take away tips for skillful university transition after graduation.

High schools and their community college and university partners must work together to ensure that ECHS and DC student coursework prepares them for seamless transfer after graduation. In addition, high schools must work closely with students to skillfully plan university application timelines and procedures to ensure maximum scholarship opportunity and coursework applicability. Knowing when and how to apply for university admission, financial aid, and scholarships can determine whether or not students have the financial means to continue their college coursework and earn the baccalaureate degree.
