Cristina Gottardi is starting her eighth year as an academic advisor at North Central Texas College. Prior to advising, she worked as a professional writing tutor, where she initially found her passion for student success. Cristina earned her A.A. at North Lake College, her B.A. in English with a minor in Communications at Dallas Baptist University, and her M.A. in English at Texas Woman’s University. She stands 100% behind the vision of community colleges and enjoys working with a diverse group of students. She considers Denton, Texas her one true home but has also lived in Mississippi, Puerto Rico, Utah, Italy, and New York.
